Hope

I have had the honor of seeing and sharing the future with a team that caught the vision, not once but twice!  It’s an incredible process.  I don’t really know how to explain what happened during my experiences but I know the possibility exists that my experience can be yours.  Not just once or twice, but again and again.  
 
The past few days have helped reveal one of the key ingredients in getting the process started.  When people allow themselves to see, see from every corner of their souls, the possibilities and potentials in a situation, and give themselves unlimited permission to act, miracles begin.  Far too often we bind ourselves with our doubts, limitations, and fears.  We know we have weaknesses.  We grasp the fact that we don’t fully understand.  We struggle with our lack of courage.  All of this and more paralyzes our action.  We can’t move.  Nothing can shake us from our position.  We are unable to do anything.  Why?
 
In the past few days people have caught incredible visions.  People extended help to those in need; known and unknown.  People reached out to those in trouble, strangers freely giving compassion to strangers.  The collective courage was and is contagious.  We will defend the values we hold to be true!  We will defend the life we hold most precious.  We will honor, respect, and support others who share our vision.  Terror will not hold us.  Fear will not bind us.  Uncertainty will not prevent us from acting on hope.
 
I hope that this enthusiasm for living and life doesn’t fade with the passage of time.  This is what visioning is!  Individuals catching a vision filled with hope.  Individuals taking the time to celebrate the glory of days past.  Individuals fully and completely living in the moment.  Everyone on the journey together.
 
I now have evidence that we, individually and collectively, can say a prayer together as one; “Righteous Father, the world has never known you, but I have known you, and these disciples know that you sent me on this mission.” (John 17.25)
