“Light-seeds are planted in the souls of God’s people, joy-seeds are planted in good heart-soil.” Psalm 97.11
The lyrics and music hit me square in the mid-section.
“There’s a hunger in this wilderness for Your revelation,
To hear the words of life that strengthen me,
Show me what You have prepared for me, speak Your confirmation.
Show me how I fit into Your plan”
“For when You call my name I can see again, who You are and who I’m meant to be,
And as You beckon me, I am free to see who You are and who I’m sent to be.”
Small events happen in our lives that explode into something big. Nobody else may care about them, but we do. It is as if God planted the events years before; they now sit waiting to jump into our lives at a special moment in time. I am convinced most moments of happiness come from this well. Light and joy seeds, waiting for us to feed them and realize what God planned all along for us!
Steve co-wrote the lyrics and was lead the worship songs. The band flowed in the experience and fused into a sound of incredible harmony. It was as if we all knew the truth of the lyrics.
“I am seeking true identity in the light of Your presence,
I am longing to know how You see me,
In the time that You have given me strength to follow,
And the grace to be who You say I am.”
God says I am very important. God says He accepts me without conditions. God gives me the most awesome gift, peace and family for eternity. God plants light and joy seeds that will grow when I let God’s presence get to them.
In this moment, I realize who I am and what I am to be. It feels so good I want to give you the same gift. God has a special and unique plan just for you. It is all laid out, just waiting to explode within you. It can happen!
