Result

Everything I touched recently brought a result.  It was as if I was magical!  Conflicts; we should have a conversation.  Uncertainty; I can address you fears, uncertainties, and doubts.  Fears; if we could go for a walk.  Can’t get something done; let me lend a hand.  Airlines, troublesome seniors, and problematic employees all fall into line.  Several began to look with different eyes, however let me be clear!
 
First, truth is very powerful!  People find themselves energized by compassionate, mercy centric truth.  It is as if an inner physical and spiritual healing occurs as they hear and reflect on truth.  In the situation last week I was merely a messenger of truth.  As the Spirit went to work I stayed around for the results.  I may have received credit from many for what then happened, but I am under no illusions!  The Spirit of truth and compassionate intent deserved any and all the credit.
 
Second, process is critical.  There is a way that might seem right, always results driven, but it never is.  How and why we do things is far more important than what then happens.  I know that this is not how the world, and the people in your life and mine view things but it is God’s truth and measure.  Nurturing, compassionate, unconditionally accepting processes are available to everyone, I just happened to be along for the ride with several last week.
 
Third, anyone can part of love truth and processes but not everyone will choose this reality and the results that go with it.  What is critical, difficult, and often frustrating is our role in reality.  We face the choice; drive for results or follow a process.  Just because we choose the right one, process, doesn’t mean that everyone will be converted.  Rejection of truth is a option available to each at every point of decision and action.  Even Jesus faced the harsh reality of losing someone along the way.  “Haven't I [Jesus] handpicked you, the Twelve?  Still, one of you is a devil!”  (John 6.70)
 
It’s a new day; choices abound!
