Now that we have, as a team achieved something monumental nobody can take it away from us! Just like the Yankees in the World Series, just like the person who climbs the mountain, facts are fact. People can argue, disagree, or try to draw attention to something else, but the fact remains. We accomplished something nobody thought possible. We achieved a milestone that will always remain, no matter how much higher the standard goes.
Knowing this – in my heart as well as my head – changes everything. The outcome of one day takes the weight off my shoulder; I can testify to this truth! Whatever my fears, uncertainties, and doubts were, they are gone. We have done it! We can do it again, and then again, and then everyday; it is just a matter of pushing and pushing on.
My confidence is absolute.
Now that I have heard God's voice, seen him in action in my life and in others, there are no doubts. Nobody can tell me that God is not real, that God does not care, that God watches from a distance. God is here, right now. God is present in your life and mine, just stop and listen – you will hear him. God is working, today, yesterday, and tomorrow, a plan in the lives of people around us as well as in your life and mine. People can argue, disagree, or try to draw attention to something else, but the fact remains. God is an awesome reality.
Knowing this – in my heart as well as my head – changes everything. Whatever my fears, uncertainties, and doubts were, they are gone. God is here! God cares deeply about your life and mine! God will be here today, then again tomorrow, and again each day until He restores our relationship with Him. God is an absolute that will never fade.
“'As I live and breathe,' God says, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will tell the honest truth that I and only I am God.'” (Romans 14.11)
It is time, time to dance with God!
