In the course of these writings, I have tried to capture what I believe God wanted me to say to you on His behalf each day. I have little doubts that my bias and perspective have influenced the words, it is difficult to write except from one’s perspective.
I know you have patiently read the words looking for the God’s thoughts through words colored by my own discouragement, depression, and a sense of relentlessness. On other days, energy, excitement, and momentum were there, hopefully in time with your own steps. It has been my goal, from the very beginning through today’s thought, to reflect what I sense is God’s word for you on that day. From my perspective, everything in life is all about God in one way or another. He is the beginning, the end, and definitely the center!
It is important that you know just how special you are to God and to those around you. We value all that is you; your sense of caring when others do not, your work ethic, your commitment to honor your word regardless of the cost, and you willingness to show feelings, emotions, and things you see if life. There are things about you that we know are not so nice; no real need to recap the specifics here. We want you to know that we see the real you and we express our confidence and love for you with at least one of us (God) having full knowledge of who you are. You are God’s child. You are also God’s friend.
Today is one that causes everyone pause and reflect. There is much to be thankful for in the past and even more to be hopeful for in the future. The purpose of looking forward and backwards is to understand the center, where we are at this moment. In the grace of this moment, everything turns towards God. “All our praise is focused through Jesus on this incomparably wise God! Yes!” (Romans 16.27) God is the center – in this moment, and always!
