“You took over and set everything right; when I needed you, you were there, taking charge.” Psalm 9.4
Two weeks ago, I knew exactly what to do. Draft an outline of the presentation, fill in the missing pieces, schedule the meeting, and review the proposals with my boss and peers.
In the time since I traveled to Singapore, Penang, San Francisco, and now New York. In my mind’s eye, the information gathered would provide the information necessary to complete the paper. In addition, the support from my office fills the missing links. All the pieces are in place to move forward in life.
I believe every person dreams a variation of this dream. Problems in back, a solution ahead, connecting the dots by walking the path and it seems so simple. For most the destination will always be the illusive “what-if.”
Then God comes along. Actually, He is always there, walking along with you and I, waiting. It is hard to believe that God actually waits for you and I. Well, he sorta waits.
What does God spend most of His time doing? Trying to convince us that He loves us unconditionally.
What is the greatest joy in God’s life? When someone who has not known God’s love turns and accepts His hug of grace and love.
What will God never do? Take away our ability to choose or reject His offer. Our choice will always be our decision.
What happens when we reject God’s offer? God looks for another way to express His love. Will God give up on us? No.
How does God take over? When we accept Him, He will change us from the inside out. His values are so powerful that we are different because of our experience with Him.
How does God take charge? By being our eyes, hands, feet, and directing our path God gives us a path to the best of life now and forever.
God’s in charge. God’s priorities will direct my path. He is doing the same for you. I know because he told me so.
