“God answer you on the day you crash…May all of your wishes come true!” Psalm 20.1,5
Cherry prays for snow every day of winter while Carli and Whitney cheer her on. Cherry’s motive is to experience all the possibilities of each season, especially cold. Carli and Whitney are more direct, school snow days!
In the last two days, I watched the outcome of God’s work. I was present when a friend was hitting near bottom, probably crashed and we just did not see the hit. To see how God works for all of His children! Amazing love, unconditional acceptance, the power to bring one into the good experiences of life.
David’s prayer in Psalm 20 calls for reinforcements, supplies, successful completion of plans, acceptance of our acts, and a celebration with the new life. This week I realized the reinforcements arrived, supplies appeared, and plans are rolling towards another new beginning. A second half-life is about to be born.
Who believed God would do this during the dark days! I confess I hoped but I did not walk totally in faith. The road ahead is sure to be difficult, challenges and confrontations to be sure. The difference is that I know there is another walking a similar path. The reason I know another shares the walk is that we dialogue about our pictures of God. We explore our doubts, revel in the miracles, and talk about resting in Him to take away the fears.
What if a whole group believed, walked together, and shared like my friend and I? What would happen? What could happen! The answer lies in what is happening to my friend and I. Lives change.
God is looking for a people who worship Him in spirit and truth. Where two or three gather He will be there. He is with my friend and I. We are the genesis of a new church, a new beginning, a new outpouring of His Spirit. Miracles are happening!
I see sins forgiven, grace lived out in life, love accepted and then given away.
I see God!
