Leverage

Men, at least this one, think they can do it themselves.  No always with their bare hands, yet as long as there are tools, plans, and techniques, one can get it done!  Granted more hands can make it quicker, but one can get it done.  While this may be true for some projects, I do not believe it is true for anything great.
 
Great things always come from a community.  It may just be three, but there is always a team at the heart of every wonderful event, cause, or achievement.  Even a photographer needs a subject and a moment in time to find an example of truth.  Every great result rests of the work of many.  When great ideas are both, it takes a minimum of three – one to dream, one to believe, and at least one to convert.  Without the first convert, the believer is never 100% sure and the dreamer is simply dreaming.
 
The simple explanation is rests in a community’s ability to leverage the strengths of the individuals within.  Your strength and mine is far stronger than what exists within either of us.  We can always achieve more than just I can or will.  When you move into an embrace of three, the potential exponentially increases!  If you add God to the mix, imagines are the only barrier to what might and can be.
 
It is often hard to see the potential.  Candidly, families, community, and relationships take work.  It is a serious work worthy of gods!  Across generations, in answer to the uncertainties and doubts, “The Master, God, says: ‘Look!  I signal to the nations, I raise my flag to summon the people.  Here they'll come: women carrying your little boys in their arms, men carrying your little girls on their shoulders.’”  (Isaiah 49.22)
 
We can be an integral part of God’s team.  We are history makers.  We can make a difference.  Everything is possible, especially when we realize with our hearts how we live and act as community.  I love “leverage” when it comes with people, opportunities, and truth.
